BV Bike Co. strives for a future where the grit of endurance and road cycling blends with the technical ascents and descents of all mountain trail riding. Add the antics that come from a weekly night ride, and you have the makings of a tight knit community on and off the trail. As it forms, we'll be here to stoke the stoke, plug the holes and lend a hand when it breaks. BV Bike Co. is here to build a cycling community and we're here to stay.

Simon Stewart

Simon Stewart’s love for all things on wheels took him from a career as a race technician and dealership service manager for Harley Davidson, to bicycle shops in Medora, North Dakota, and Fruita, Colorado, a lengthy stint as a mountain bike guide for Western Spirit Cycling, a tour of duty in the technical marketing department at SRAM, and a continuing position as a contributing editor for Bike magazine.

Joe Parkin
Joe Parkin’s bicycling career began on the road in the late 1980s. The NorCal resident packed up and moved to Belgium, turned pro, and didn’t come back to the States until he’d properly mastered European cycling culture. Back stateside, Parkin turned from the road to the dirt, and then to the pages of his books “A Dog in a Hat” and “Come & Gone” and then to a few years in the Editor’s seat at Bike and Paved magazines.
Drew Heimerl
Drew has a diverse background and has lived in Buena Vista for 12 years. He's worked as a camp counselor, machinist, and mechanic on heavy equipment before switching to bikes. To him, fixing things has always been at the foundation of work.  When he's not behind the counter at BV Bike Co, he's out on the trail coaching the high school mountain bike team, or hosting the Thursday night shop ride.
